Anika, Isaiah, and Leia Robison
Our Beginnings
We are a family committed to expanding God’s Kingdom on earth. Individually, we each discovered the call to missions, and together, we’ve embraced God’s plan for our lives.
Anika’s journey in missions began in 2018 when she completed her Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM Pacific Reach in Tauranga, New Zealand. She later returned in 2020 to serve on staff, investing 3.5 years in discipling and equipping others.
Isaiah stepped into missions in 2022, also completing his DTS with Pacific Reach. He quickly stepped into leadership, staffing the next school—where Anika was leading.
Now, as a family, we continue saying yes to God’s call, walking in faith, and serving wherever He leads.
Staffing together in 2022 was the moment God began weaving our lives together—though we know He had been writing our story all along.
Our friendship grew first, and as we saw more of God in each other, we couldn’t help but love what we saw. Anika had prayed to be “blinded” until the right time, while Isaiah had been receiving quiet confirmations that she was the one. Then, in God’s perfect timing, He spoke to both of us: It’s time.
When Isaiah shared his heart, Anika was shocked—but in an instant, God lifted the blinders. That night, she lay awake thinking, Of course it’s him! The next morning, she knew: yes. Isaiah, after one last conversation with God, had the same answer: Of course I will!
That day, our love story and life as missionaries together began—two lives, now one, united in Christ. We know this is just the beginning of God’s plan, and we’re so grateful for those who have shaped, encouraged, and loved us along the way!
We were married on May 17, 2023 on the cliffs of Montauk, New York, and later celebrated with our family and friends on June 4th at a beautiful vineyard in New York. We spent our first year of marriage resting from ministry and traveling across the states to land ourselves in the Pacific Northwest.
We welcomed our first child on August 19, 2024 with incredible joy and peace. Leia Elayne Salome is a blessing to our lives and ministry, her name meaning child of heaven’s light and perfect peace [shalom]. She is a precious gift to us and we are so grateful to God for entrusting her life to us.
YWAM North Cascades
Isaiah and Anika decided to develop their training at YWAM North Cascades in Lynden, WA in April 2023, taking the Discipleship Bible School (DBS). They quickly realized they wanted to be involved in a deeper way with the vision and mission of this YWAM campus, so they quickly joined on staff, knowing that under this leadership they would still be able to grow and chase after their dreams! They love this community and rejoice that they get to partner with amazing people to see these visions and dreams come to life, AND get to invite Leia into all of it.
Please join YWAM North Cascades here for a discipleship program, seminar, or one of the many training programs run yearly to develop your own gifts, calling, and relationship with Yahweh!
Our Vision
Both of us have a deep desire to teach and mentor young people . We long to see people walk deeper still into love with their Creator, and we see this happen in various ways. We are both pursuing teaching in various forms. Whether it’s on a DTS, DBS, training up coaches, or just sharing with a small group of people, we are excited to dive in together and allow God to speak through us!
We also lead people into deeper intimacy through worship, prayer, mentorship, fellowship, outreach, and service.
Isaiah’s passion lies in learning about the Bible and how it still possesses countless principles for our walk as Christians. He desires to use that knowledge to bring people deeper into the Word and gain a new love for God through reading and applying it. His humility and zeal for understanding will bring about transformation in the body of Christ.
Anika’s passion lies in life coaching DTS students during and after the school to encourage them to set realistic goals and plans. She will use her coaching certification to bring the heart of God into each student’s life. Her heart for serving others and passion to express the fullness of God’s character, serve to uplift and edify the body of Christ.
